The Story
Heritage Craftworx started the way most real things do - not with a business plan, but with a table saw, a sander, and a pile of wood that needed to become something worth keeping.
Operating out of a dedicated basement workshop in the suburbs of Chicago, Heritage Craftworx is a single-person operation - every piece designed, cut, finished and shipped by the same set of hands.
The name comes from a simple idea: that the things people actually keep - the handcrafted signs on the wall, the boxes on the shelf, the new gifts made from repurposed materials - have a certain weight to them. They're heritage pieces, even when they're new.
The Philosophy
"Mass production makes copies. We make originals. There's a difference, and people can feel it."
— Heritage Craftworx · Est. 2025
A fully equipped basement shop built specifically for this work. No shared space, no part-time setup — a dedicated environment where the tools are always ready and the work doesn't stop when life gets in the way.
Four disciplines run out of this space: CNC carving and engraving, traditional woodshop work, candle and fragrance production, and 3D printing. Each has its own area, its own tools, and its own standards.
Every item passes through human hands at every step. No bulk runs, no outsourcing, no shortcuts. Care taken with each individual piece.
Nothing leaves the shop generic. Whether it's a catalog item or a fully custom build, every piece has something specific to it.
Craft without precision is just noise. Tight tolerances on CNC paths, joinery, scent ratios, and print geometry. Done right or done over.
