We are a small, hands-on operation. Before you order, we want to give you an honest picture of how this works, what's realistic to expect, and what makes buying from us different from a print-and-ship storefront.
We Make Things. Personally.
Every item that leaves Heritage Craftworx was touched by a human hand at every step. There's no warehouse, no dropshipper, no third-party fulfillment center. When you order a CNC sign, someone here runs the file, sets up the machine, watches the cut, sands it, finishes it, and packs it. When you order a candle, it gets poured in this shop.
That means quality we can stand behind. It also means we're not Amazon. We work through orders in the order they come in, and we take the time to get things right rather than rush them out the door.
We're real people making real things. Orders take a little longer than a big box store, but you're getting something made specifically for you, not pulled off a shelf.
Lead Times
Most standard catalog items ship within 3–4 business days. Custom and personalized pieces typically take 1–3 weeks depending on complexity and where we are in the queue.
We will always tell you upfront if your order is going to take longer than normal, before you pay, not after. If something comes up mid-production (a material arrives damaged, a tool needs maintenance), we'll reach out and give you options.
Custom Orders
Custom work is a conversation, not a vending machine. The process looks like this:
- You fill out the request form with as much detail as you have.
- We follow up within 1 business day to talk through what you're looking for and give you a quote.
- Once you approve the quote, a 50% deposit kicks off production.
- We make it, photograph it, and send you a preview before shipping.
- Balance is due on completion.
We ask for detail upfront because changes mid-production can mean starting over, especially with CNC work where the material is already cut. The more specific you are in the request, the better the result.
Why We Cost What We Cost
We're not the cheapest option online. We're also not a hobbyist selling things as a side hustle with no overhead. The pricing reflects real material costs, real equipment costs, real time, and the fact that we're making something that should last. Not something designed to be replaced in a year.
If you can find something comparable for significantly less, it's worth asking what corners were cut to get there. We're not saying we're the only good option, but we're confident in what we charge for what we deliver.
If Something Goes Wrong
We stand behind our work. If something arrives damaged or isn't what was described, reach out and we'll make it right. No runaround, no long policy pages to navigate. Just email us at info@heritagecraftworx.com with a photo and we'll sort it out.
Custom items are a little different. Once production starts, the deposit is non-refundable because the materials and time are committed. But if the error is ours, we remake or refund, full stop.
Thanks for Being Here
The site is still relatively new and we're building the shop as we go. If you have questions that aren't answered here or on the FAQ page, just ask. We'd rather you feel good about ordering than have you second-guess it.
